Give Draft a useful starting point
In Account, choose up to three kinds of work you do most often. Revise uses those defaults and broad surface context for Draft recommendations; it does not inspect the page or document text to infer them.

Turn this off if you prefer Draft to open on Auto every time.

Email, Marketing, Creative, Social, Outreach, and Support are available.

Start from one saved instruction set
Leave it at None to keep Auto as the default.

Save instructions you genuinely repeat

Name the reusable job
Use a name you will recognize in a compact Draft menu, such as “Concise client updates.” - 2
Write explicit instructions
Describe structure, voice, details to include, and anything to avoid. Keep client- or campaign-specific facts in the live brief. - 3
Add optional defaults
A preset may set its base type, tone, and length without locking you out of changing them for one draft. - 4
Use it on either surface
You can save up to ten presets. They sync to the web editor and Chrome extension.
Editor reading
Set font and English dialect separately
- On desktop, open the editor’s ••• settings menu to choose the manuscript body font and English dialect.
- On mobile, the same controls live in the document drawer.
- These are editor preferences on the current browser. Draft presets and common-work preferences are the settings that sync through your account.
